Digital Storytelling Project Description:
20 Native youth will participate in the production of digital stories – short, first person video-narratives that combine voice, images, and audio – sharing their experiences with STEM during an intensive four day workshop facilitated by the Center for Digital Storytelling (CDS).
Background:
This past year, NYEP students took hundreds of snapshots of their experiences on campus using disposable cameras. In fact, all the pictures you see on this website were taken by students. With the help of CDS, students will use more than photographs to tell their story. Everyone has a powerful story to tell, and digital storytelling can make your words heard anywhere in the world.
